These are the core values of the men and women who protect and serve our community at the Scarsdale Fire Department. Advocate Brokerage and our team actively support the courage, hard work, and dedication of these admirable volunteers who so selflessly respond to the needs of our community.
Jeffery Koslowsky, a valued member of the Advocate Brokerage family, is currently the Assistant Captain of Company 3. The Scarsdale Fire Department consists of over 100 volunteer firefighters, split between three companies, equipped to deal with a broad range of often life-threatening situations including motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, and, of course, fires. Though they are volunteers, Jeffery and his fellow firefighters are trained and ready to respond at a moments notice because they are totally committed to protecting our community.
Glenn Binday, another member of our team at Advocate Brokerage, is also a Scarsdale Fire Department volunteer firefighter alongside Jeffery, serving in Company #3. With 10 years of service under his belt, Glenn is dedicated to ensuring the safety of his community. He joined the Department following the terrorist attacks of September 11th, “feeling a sense of helplessness while watching the events on television and not being qualified to help, I remember thinking ‘what if something where to happen in our own community.”
We, at Advocate, enthusiastically support the work done by Jeffery and Glenn to protect our community as well as all those volunteer firefighters nationwide, who dedicate their time, strength and bravery to help keep their families, homes, and communities safe.
