#SCARSDALE – Advocate Brokerage Corp. and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. have partnered to donate $10,000 to the Scarsdale Fire Department for essential respiratory equipment to keep the Village’s firefighters safe.
The money was used to buy a specialized machine that tests the fit of firefighters’ masks to prevent dangerous leaks of smoke and gases.
“We are extremely proud to partner with Fireman’s Fund in this endeavor,” Glenn Binday, an owner and vice president of Advocate Brokerage, told the Scarsdale Inquirer. “It is especially meaningful to me since I, along with my brother-in-law and colleague Jeffrey Koslowsky, serve as volunteer firefighters with the department.”
