#SCARSDALE – Rosalyn Binday and Denise Koslowsky helped United Way launch its 2008-2009 campaign.
Roz Binday, a founder of Advocate Brokerage with her husband, Ron, and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of United Way of Scarsdale-Edgemont, attended the Leadership Reception for its most committed supporters to kick off the campaign.
United Way brings people and resources together to tackle issues of major concern and produce positive change, community-wide. Partnering with not-for-profits, business, the public sector and caring individuals, United Way creates as well as strengthens a range of initiatives that have far reaching impact on our community’s most significant issues: strengthening families, nurturing children and youth, increasing self-sufficiency, promoting #health and #wellness, embracing diversity and fostering independence for seniors.
Denise Koslowsky, Roz and Ron’s daughter and a busy insurance executive at Advocate Brokerage, was a Co-Coordinator of the 
Leadership Reception with Ms. Binday. Roz remains as the Board Chair member and Denise holds the title of Vice President Strategic Initiatives, helping to bring together among the rest of the Board members the human, financial and organizational resources in the #Scarsdale-Edgemont community to solve its critical human-need issues and positively impact people’s lives.
