The Junior League of Central Westchester’s mission to improve the local community garnered huge support during their Glitz & Glamour Spring Fundraiser. The JLCW’s well attended event was co-sponsored by Pepe Infiniti and 42 The Restaurant. Held at Pepe Infiniti in White Plains, the event featured a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres provided by Nikos Greek Taverna followed by dinner and dessert provided by 42 The Restaurant.
The event wasn’t merely a gathering focused on food and spirits. There was also a silent auction including a gorgeous diamond necklace generously donated by Tiffany & Co., live entertainment from the Music Conservatory of Westchester and red carpet photography provided by Londin Photography. Despite the Glitz & Glamour abundant due to the theme of the evening, the charitable heart was evident throughout the 270 people in attendance. President of the JLCW, Julie King stated, “Glitz & Glamour was an amazing evening…the funds raised for the JLCW will be incredibly helpful in our mission to improve the local community through charitable works.”
The JLCW is very grateful to all of the event sponsors including Tiffany & Co, Neiman Marcus, Sportime, Houlihan Lawrence, TD Bank, Simon Properties & American Airlines. They are especially thankful to their Crown Jewel Sponsors Pepe Infiniti for hosting the event and 42 The Restaurant for providing the food. They are excited to utilize the funds raised during the event to continue programs that impact the community. By proving food and necessities to the underprivileged, empowering low-income families, preserving community history and training community volunteers, JLCW has been able to make a difference in their community.
